Ale Armellini The Dean of Digital Learning University of Portsmouth OnlineAle Armellini, the Dean of Digital and Distributed Learning, holds a master's degree in Educational Technology and TESOL from the esteemed University of Manchester, along with a PhD in Language Studies from Canterbury Christ Church University. His extensive research portfolio centers on learning innovation, online and blended pedagogy, course design in online environments, institutional capacity building, and open practices.
Beyond his influential contributions to the field of Education through research, Ale Armellini is recognized as a distinguished figure. He holds prestigious titles, including Fellowship in the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, Principal Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy, and the esteemed designation of a National Teaching Fellow.
Dr Myropi Garri Programme Director Global DBADr Myropi Garri is the Global DBA Course Director in the Faculty of Business and Law at the University of Portsmouth. As a Senior Lecturer in Strategic Management, Myropi is passionate about researching and teaching Strategic Management and International Business. She has taught thousands of undergraduate and postgraduate students, designed and coordinated strategy and research modules, supervised research projects and PhDs. Myropi has led and participated in Research Programs and International Conferences. Her work has been published in scientific journals and in edited volumes.
Dr Tom Lockhart Course LeaderDr. Tom Lockhart is a senior lecturer in the Department of Psychology. He has previously lectured in both online focused and traditional Universities and has experience of course management. His research work tests and applies the principles of a neurological theory of personality called Reinforcement Sensitivity Theory. Specifically, his tests of the theory's principles usually involve comparative neurological methods, particularly EEG. Whereas, his applied work has involved identifying biomarkers of anxiety with colleagues at the University of Otago, comparative models of personality with colleagues at the Universities of Winchester and Milan, and factors affecting victim responses to fire with colleagues at the West Midlands Fire Service. -
